A full day of nature, movement, and connection, 30 minutes away from Amsterdam!
🗓️ Plan of the Day
📍 Meeting Point:
Amsterdam Central Station: 10.30 AM Haarlem Central Station: 11:15 AM
We’ll meet aright outside the main entrance. Make sure to bring your own bike or rent one in the ov bike office!
🚴♂️ Bike Ride to South-Kennemerland
We’ll cycle scenic routes into the heart of the national park.
👀 Stop 1 – Bison Lookout Point
The bison viewing area is a protected part of the parks and home to a small herd of wild European bisons, one of the only places in the Netherlands where you might spot them roaming freely!
🌞 Beach and picnic Break – Bloemendaal aan Zee
We’ll relax by the sea, grab a drink or lunch at a beach club, sunbathe, or take a dip. Please bring your own lunch and drinks, there are beach clubs nearby, but feel free to pack your favorite snacks and enjoy a picnic with the group!
🌿 Ride Through the Dunes
After lunch, we’ll head deeper into the dune and forest area — a more wild and peaceful part of the park
🏞️ Final Stop – Oosterplas Lake
We’ll end the route at Oosterplas, a quiet freshwater lake tucked away in the park. This is a great spot for a final swim, a rest under the trees, or just soaking in the view before we start making our way back to Haarlem together.
🚉 Return Trip
After we finish at Oosterplas Lake, we’ll cycle back to Haarlem Station together to catch the train back to Amsterdam.
We plan to take the train between 6:00/6:30 PM.

IMPORTANT:
You need your bike for this event. If you don’t have one, we suggest getting an OV bike for 4.65€ (by the train station Haarlem Centraal). Note that this last thing is ONLY possible if you have an OV chipkaart with an NS Flex or OV fiets subscription.
Age range for this event is from 24-35 years old.
